2003 Monaco Dynasty KVH Satellite Fuse
My MH has been in the shop for the last month waiting on front brake rotors.. which is another story. Now that I have it back I am getting it ready to take to the Texas Coast for a week and in my check list is to make sure the in motion KVH dome is operational, which it is not. There is no noise and the search light does not come on when I turn the power switch on. I have look at all the FRB fuse diagram and do not find a fuse for the dome. This is factory installed. Anyone know where the fuse is located?

Not sure what model it was, but our previous coach had a KVH and it had a fuse under the dome in a closed box.

I have '07 Scepter with KVH. I had no power to the unit so I e-mailed Monaco tech service to see where fuse was located. They said it should be in the rear closet, but nothing specific Checked all fuses back there and none was bad. I checked all fuses in the electrical panel under drivers seat. The only bad fuse I found was a 5A 12V fuse marked as the battery jumper fuse. Replaced it, and KVH works fine.

fuse
I had a hard time finding the fuse but it is under the dome. It is a very small one. Keep looking and hopefully you will find it. If you call them while you are on the telephone they can help you. Good luck

In my wiring diagram that also lists the Dynasty shows that the 12 volt fuse is located in the Domestic Fuse Box. My black plastic fuse box is located in a bathroom cabinet. If you look up FUSES in your manual it will tell you where it is located. Mine is fuse #16 which is a 7.5 amp fuse third up from the bottom on the right side.
Something else to check. It is not uncommon for a service mechanic to unplug that small cable from the left side of the KVH sat control box to stop the antenna from hunting. It has a telephone type plug on it. Make sure that is plugged in all the way.

Thanks for all the suggestions.
1. Fuse panel in bedroom overhead cabinet has a fuse for DSS/Toilet. It does not go to DSS, it goes to the electronic toilet. All fuses are good.
2. FRB fuses all good, non for DSS.
3. One fuse under passenger arm rest, not to DSS.
4. Checked voltage on KVH switch, got 12vdc and ground... should have checked there FIRST :-)
5. Headed to the roof to see if the 3.5amp fuse is blown. It has been over 100 for the last few days but cloudy and trying to rain so now is the time!

Must have been a loose connection. Fuse on circuit board in antenna was good. Disconnected the control/power cable and checked for 12vdc, had it. Reconnected and antenna came alive !
