2003 Safari Panther

I am looking to purchase a 2003 Safari Panther 4213 with 60k miles. It is fully loaded with all of the options that were available when it was built. It has a 505hp CAT with a 4000 Allison, tag axle, aqua hot, flat screens......... One of the main reasons for buying it is the side entrance door. I am tired of climbing over the front seat to get in and out especially carrying food. Does anyone have this year Panther? Please tell me about your experience, please include the good and the bad.

Here is the original brochure:

Safari Motorcoaches

Built by Monaco on their top Roadmaster chassis, the S Series semi monocoque design. Very strong chassis.

I am also looking to buy one as the boss & I really like the floor plan and it is getting time for an upgrade.I have a mid door coach now & really feels more like a house than a bus!!!! There are a few kicking around but I have a hard time paying $100K for an '03 Safari, especially when there are '03 Dynastys kicking around for much less than that!!!!! Oh well, wait till spring I guess???

I have been looking at Monaco's although I really like the mid door. The comparable Monaco coach is a signature or executive with a 500hp engine. Dynasty's have a 400hp and want the additional torque. Have a Merry Christmas.
