We're staying near Parker AZ and on the drive up the mountain, my wife thought something "flashed" in the overhead compartment where the Winegard TV antenna control box is located. The 5 amp fuse to the box was blown but now the backup monitor won't come on(it reads 5 volts) and the dash blower motor doesn't work. When i turn the air vent selector switch, the dash lights for the climate control come on. Does anyone have a schematic? Is there a good Electrical repair near Parker AZ or Lake Havasu City AZ??

Help

Paul,
You've presented quite a challenge here!....so much so, that no one has responded.

When readings (5 volts where there should be 12) and indications go crazy (lights come on when selecting heating or A/C settings at the dash), then I start looking for a poor electrical ground somewhere. You state that your dash blower-motor doesn't run?.....so it may be (with these collectively-weird indications) that the blower-motor is lacking the 12VDC that is needs and is possibly providing the path-to-ground for some of these circuits. Grant you, this is a stretch of logic, but I'm with you: you'll need a good electrical repairman (pardon the pun) to "run this to ground".

Paul, We have an 2004 Monarch, and I know the inverter is up there and has quite large wires running to it. Was it turned off? It may use a local ground connection that has gone bad. I don't have a diagram of wiring, but would pay dearly for one.
