2004 Monaco Signature Baroness Slide Out Problems

I have a 2004 Baroness and the Drivers Side Slide Out will not go in all the way and appears to not be pulling in equally so back is a few inches out when front closed. Have searched for video to see if something I can do since I dont want to drive this way.

Do you have the single hydraulic cylinder in the center with the room supported/sliding on the two heavy rails, like this?

The other main slide on my coach has a "X-slide" which has a hydraulic mechanism at each end of the slide room.

With some more detail I may be able to help.

Send a message via ICQ to Ivylog
If you have 2 cylinders (not like the above pictures) hold the in button down for 3-4 seconds with the slide in. Then move it out and when it stops moving hold the switch on again for 3-4 seconds. Yes, this is contrary to what you do on normal hydraulic systems but they do not have a 3rd synchronizing cylinder. Retract and see if it has synchronized...equalized. If not repeat the above.

If in doubt about doing the above read this: Hydraulic Slide Adjustments?

First try Ivy's suggestion, then check the slide out locks.
The slide out lock system is only on the drivers side front main slide out. They are 6 feet long stainless steel plates that run the full height of the slide out and are covered with black plastic covers. These should be lubed once per year but are often neglected and lock up. You should be able to push the bottom lever outward by hand and watch the lock on top of the slide extend (this is with the slide all the way out).

You might try giving Marty at Elite RV Repair in Harrisburg, OR. (*(541) 517-1716‬) He worked at Beaver and then Monaco installing the slides.
