My driver-side living room slide makes a lot of noise going in and out. An inspection indicates that a small section of the plastic surface on the bottom of the slide has been ripped possibly from contact with a support roller. I'd like to know who manufactured this slide so I can get some documentation and parts information. Also, I'd like to hear if others have experienced this and what fixes they might have installed.

I would suggest calling Chris Throgmartin at Stone Vos. He and his wife own the company that makes awning fabric toppers. Chris recently started another business called Talin RV. This company makes slide plates that fix issues that Monaco motorhomes have with their slides. He is very knowledgeable on Monaco slides and can steer you in the right direction. Just Google Stone Vos in Brooksville FL and give him a call.
I left a note on Chris' web site last week, but never got a reply. Is he still in business?
Yes he's definitely still in business. He may be at a rally or show. If so he's running around like crazy checking coaches and talking with folks. I'm sure he'll get back with you as soon as he can.
