2005 Monaco Diplomat 40PRQ Sway Bars

Wondering if anyone could help me locate a service center in the Knoxville TN area where I could have the rear sway bar kit installed on my Diplomat. I understand there are kits available to help the handling and I've seen a post about having the kit installed. Thanks

Buddy Gregg was a Monaco Dealer, but he has passed away. If the dealership is still open, they should be able to do the job for you.

They are on the north side of I-40/75 exit 373 and on Snyder Rd.

Hi from Knoxville,

We had the sway bars installed at the Camping World at Exit 398 on I-40 East. They have a lift and raised the coach 3 feet off the ground to do the work. Buddy Gregg is still in business at the Campbell Station Road Exit on I-40 West. They closed the Texas location but have expanded the Knoxville location. Some folks have installed there own, but unless you enjoy working under the coach with 90 lb sway bars, I don't recommend it. You can read about our experience with the sway bars here:
Report on Roadmaster sway bars on RR8R chassis

Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year,

Bob

Camping World did order the sway bars from Roadmaster when we purchased them but Roadmaster has since sourced the sway bars through Source Engineering.

Update on my OP.....I bought a Helwig sway bar kit (which didn't fit so it was returned) then a more expensive rear sway bar from road aster that works well, just a bear to install by myself. That was 2 years ago. I've had 3 surgeries since Feb '15....right knee total replacement with weeks of therapy, a right shoulder reworked with more weeks of therapy, and in March I had a second revision of my left knee originally replaced in '97, first revision done in August '04.....3 total knees. So....my availability to perform maintenance on our MH has been limited BUT I'm resuming what lighter things I can do. Next I intend to replace the Air Dryer cartridge and cheesy low beam headlamp bulbs. Can't use the newer LED units because of the way my '05 Diplomat lights are built into the front cap.....not enough room for the heat sinks so I'll use the strongest ULTRA's Sylvania makes.....best I can do unless someone out there knows what to do for better night vision!
