2005 Monaco Dynasty headlight wiring harness
Can anyone direct me where to find a Monaco headlight wiring harness or pigtail? I called Monaco, they told me the headlight was a BMW and gave me a part number which I cannot find any where. I don't believe it is a BMW, The part number for the headlight given to me was 400-047.

Thanks Rex, it sure does look like them! I guess I will pull the pig tail and check a local dealer. Do you know if the tail lights are also BMW?

On Edit: Realize you are looking for pigtail but thought these guys might help you.

I am not sure some of those part numbers are correct and the headlights may look correct but are not what is on yours. For your 2005 Dynasty I believe they are the same as my 2004 Signature and they are 2001 to 2003 BMW 525i headlights with "angel eyes" and non-HID. Headlights for a 2000 BMW 525 are different. Rex is correct that it is a BMW E39 but an E39 goes from 1997 to 2003 and several different headlights. Take a look at this one 2001 BMW 5 Series Headlight at 1AAuto.com. It may or may not make a difference on the pigtail but double check.

Mike,
Is the oem part number located on the back of the housing. I would like to check mine for a fit. I have an 05 dynasty. I did see "Hella" somewhere on the housing.

Never looked but here are the BMW part numbers
I believe these have amber turn indicators
Left Side - 63126900199
Right Side - 63126900200
These I know have white turn indicators
Left Side - 63126902517
Right Side - 63126902518

Thanks Mike, I'm getting closer....my problem is a loose wire to the low beam headlight. I'm going to pull the pig tail off and check it for a part number and or see if I can fix it myself. With these part numbers I should be able to get the Beamer dealer to find it!

That pigtail that hooks up to the lightbulb can be bought at NAPA at other good auto parts place. It does not have to be a BMW pigtail. If I remember correctly those are H7 headlight bulbs so you can get one like this
Ceramic Hi Heat H7 Headlight Beam Repair Connector Pigtail - The Repair Connector Store
If it is for a 9006 bulb then just scroll down. These are just standard plugs. Don't need a BMW plug. But you need to know your bulb number.

It is an H7 bulb, Napa did not have the connector at Hilton head, thanks for the link, it looks like the 9006 female connector! Thanks again!

Mike, on my 2005 dynasty, the 2001 headlights are definitely not the ones I have. These appear to be the ones that I have: 2000 BMW 5 Series Headlight HALOGEN PAIR at 1AAuto.com.
They have that "sealed beam" look from the outside. I guess I will have to pull one to see if I can find a oem part number. Thanks for heading me in the right direction.

So mine is different on my 2004 Signature then. Do you have "angel eyes" around each headlight. Here is a picture of mine
