2006 Monaco Diplomat PAQ 40' Quad slide

I am considering upgrading to a 2006 Monaco Diplomat PAQ 40' quad slide coach. "considering" is the key word here. I would like to know anything, good or bad, about this brand and model coach. This info would help a lot in my decision.

We own a PAQ - Diplomat 2007.

The PAQ is, we believe, isn't different from any other model in term of faults. We opted for the PAQ because we like to get a lot of sunlight into the RV. We see a lot og Rv'ers who arrive on the camp ground, and 5 minutes later they have drawn all curtains. We do the opposite - we arrive and let the sun into the atrium and this is what the PAQ is all about.

If you like the inside of you RV to be bright and sunny - go for the PAQ. If you favor privacy and more shade - don't get this model.

We like our PAQ and have no regrets as fare as the model is concerned.

We owned a 2005.Nice coach,never had any real problems.

We have the 2006 PDQ and love it. After putting the Koni shocks on and dumping the Goodyears on the front she handles well. We put the TruCenter on and now drive with one hand and hold a cup of coffee in the other.

This was most likely the best year for Monaco coaches. They seem to have started to slide in their quality after that. We did not know this when we purchased but have noticed all the problems folks have had with newer coaches.

Is TruCenter the full name and what can I expect to pay for it? Thanks

I have a 6 Endeavor PAQ and love the floor plan and it is a head turner. Plenty of windows for light and air movement. After 21,000 miles all the bugs seem to be worked out. Matter of fact mine is for sale not because there is anything wrong with it but because we want a coach with a back garage.
