2007 Exective question.....

I have an air leak.....my coach sags to the left rear when it sits......in travel mode parked in shed, and overtime in level mode when camping. It airs up for travel fine, but I have a leak. Also, I have noticed that the air brakes are not holding air like they did when parked. I use to hold 80 to 90 lbs for a week or so in the shed. Now it is dropping to 30 or 40 lbs over night. Airs up ok to 120 lbs once started, but it sure is different.

Can the two be connected to the same problem ?????

The main air system (front and rear air tanks) use a "pressure protection valve" to keep the main air system from leaking down if the air bags leak. It is possible that the PPV is leaking itself allowing main system pressure to drop when the air leaks out of the air bag system.

The air bags use electric solenoid to control air into and out of the bags. These solenoid are notorious for leaking. The ones I've seem (HWH) are easy to fix by changing the internal o-rings, if you can get to them.

If you can get under the coach safely (use ramps and/or jack stands) you can spray a soapy-water mix on the air valves and see which ones are leaking.

Regarding the sagging, you should have an electric ("auxiliary") air compressor on your coach that will add lost air to the air bag system (not the main air system) as it loses pressure. If your leveling system is in "auto" mode and the coach engine is not running, the leveling system is supposed to turn on the electric air compressor to keep coach level.

I'm speaking of a system like my coach uses (HWH) if you have something else, then things may be different (but I would not think very different).

The 2007 Exec uses a Power Gear leveling system. It also has a 12v air compressor to maintain level when parked. If the level system in in auto, then you will hear a very loud compressor running accasionally to maintain pressure. The 2007 compressor is easily accessible in a small compartment on the passenger side.

Mike is correct about finding and fixing air leaks. You also need to check the water drain air bleads front and rear as they tend to develop leaks. These are easy to fix. You will hear them hissing after you have run the engine and pumped up the pressure. Just replace them.
