We are looking at an '07 HR Ambassador with possible purchase being considered. It has the front kitchen 40 skt floor plan. Can anyone that owns this coach give me the good and bad points? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

azloafer...
I will PM Gordon to make sure he sees this thread. He has that particular model...and I believe they are quite happy with it.

SacsTC really likes the idea of the front kitchen...and I think there are many benefits to it, also. (The one thing that I would miss if I had the front kitchen is my full wall slide.) A couple of nice things about the front kitchen are:
  • Unobstructed view out the front (No TV to block part of the view)
  • Smaller chance of dripping things through the living area as you take things out to the BBQ.
  • Not having to lug groceries in as far.
Good Luck in making the right choice for you!

I have the Endeavor which is an Ambassador with the bigger engine and a few more toys that I honestly wanted...Good coach and good set up..As long as you are handy for adjusting the bugs since there is no warranty on the house....and you double check the tires and batteries...the 330 HP on it is enough in most situations. If the price is right , go for it.

Hey everyone! Merry Christmas!

Likes and dislikes about the SKT.

Hmmmm.

Likes:

No TV to have to look up into and crane your neck. TV is mid coach and eye level.
Kitchen is closer when you want a soda when driving down the road.
No carpet to mess up in the kitchen area right after you come in out of the rain.
I can turn the front seats around and it is a better distance and more comfortable area to sit.

Dislikes:

Cabinet around the TV is narrow. Had to find a short/narrow 1080p up convert DVD player for ease of use. I disliked using the DVD player in the dash to watch a movie and getting the remote to work was a pain. Fixed that when I put the new DVD in.

Satellite box is up in the cabinet by the stairs. Remote works pretty well with that after I raised the box off the shelf using upturned Rubermaid cutlery organizers.

With both the leather couch pulled out into the bed and the couch hide-a-bed pulled out, there is no room to go between back to the bedroom.

But really. Even the dislikes are minor. The weight drivers side and passenger side is well matched and pretty even.

We really like the coach.
