I am new to this forum. Found it in an online search and decided to join. Seems like a helpful and enjoyable site. I have an 07 hr neptune 36' coach and have a problem with the dash guages. I noticed it a few times when bought new in 07 that the guages would all go down to zero while traveling and then bounce right back up til normal. About a year ago i pulled whole guage pod out and looked around but could not find anything abnormal looking. Since then everything worked great, until a couple days ago. When left for vacation odometer stuck with all digital lines on, turn engine off to reset and everything fine. Couple days later speedo stops at about 45 while sitting still and fuel needle pegs full. Stop engine and reset, back to normal. Later while traveling rpm needle pegs 4000 and then back to normal. I am concerned about this not knowing if the guages are reading correctly, engine problem? Would like to get fixed. Asked a service tech not long after new and he said the guages were just resetting themselves, not to worry, but now they seem to be acting funnier all the time. Sorry for the long post and thanks for any help you can provide.

It could be a bad/loose ground, maybe at gauge panel, maybe where ground wire is connected to chassis.

my first thought was a ground, but found it funny that it worked great for a year and all of a sudden acting up again, but anything is possible. i just wanted to check if anyone else might have had the problem and could shed some light on the subject. i will check the ground wires and all asap. thanks
