I do not have a satellite dish on my MH and have never been able to get any reception on the TV by using the crank up antenna when there is not cable hookup. Still have all original equipment. Any suggestions as to a fix or how to. Both TVs seem to work OK when hooked to cable. Thanks,

Linda

You need to open menus on the tv and switch it from cable to air. Not sure where your booster switch is located but you need to turn it on to increase the on air signal. It the TV is in the center of the dash the switch normally is on the drivers side in an overhead compartment.

Thanks Clark. Next time I'm at the MH, will try this. Can you believe in 5 years that I've had this MH, I have never learned how to get TV reception without cable hookup?? Hope this works.

Linda,
It is a wallplate with a coax connection and a small push button that lights green when on. usually located in a cabinet above the driver.

You should have in the overhead cabinet above the driver seat, a black box with several push buttons on it. The button to the extreme left should be labeled Power. Push this button IN - a red light should come on. This is your power booster for the roof antenna. If you have the CRT type TV's, you will need to purchase one of the Digital conversion boxes. You will need one of these to receive the digital signals that most of the TV stations are now broadcasting. Although, if you have an LCD TV, you will not need one of these boxes. As one of the other posters mentioned, you will need to go to the TV menu and switch from cable to air.
Hope this helps.
