2007 Monaco Executive 45 Whitney Signature Curb Slide

Curbside front slide (Living & Kitchen) is starting drag on the marble floor at the refrigerator. It is slow coming out; it appears the rear clog is not keeping up with the front.

At the top when fully extended out is does not seal (you can see daylight); appears to be dropping as it slides out.

Does anyone have schematics on how to adjust the slide?

Before you do any adjusting, I would check the bottom of the slide for any dry rot. It's a common problem with Monaco.

Check the rollers, I've had objects blocking one, roller screws shearing off, roller disintegrating etc.. If the sink is on that slide check the drain flex hose is not binding. It gets stiff with age.

As windsorbill said, inspect it closely before making adjustments. The rollers usually have an adjustment screw.

Thanks for your reply.

I am trying to determine how to check the rollers. The slide is concealed on the underbelly. I do not see any fasteners to remove to access and inspect.

The front 1 should be inside the wheel well from the outside. the 2 rear ones are under a false floor in the cabnet

If that were my coach, I seriously consider installing the guardian plates on that slide. You are getting scuff marks and they will only get worse. After you install the plates, you can adjust the slides. You may not even need to adjust them.

Google "guardian plates by Talin".

Rollers

Bill,

Thanks for the information regarding the Guardian Plates. I watched the video and it clearly makes sense. I am excited that I do not have floor rot.

I have a question related to why the rear galley slide is starting to set on the marble floor after fully extended.

My research took me to the top bracket and show in the photos. Clearly is has settled or slid down as you can see in photo 9 and the gap in photo 7.

Does that top bracket carry all the weight?

Could there be a defect in one or more of the rollers?

Do you have a commendation for the repair?

I posted a bunch of pictures of mine. The whole slide was droping due to it slipping at the top when the crapy undersized bolts came loose. See if you can find the thread and if it is the same issue. I hope it helps. Got quotes up to $8,500 to fix it and did it myself for less then $40 without removing the slide. The top and bottom side mounts carried all the weight of mine. The rollers keep it balanced when moving but it “floats” on the X mounting system. Or at least that is how mine is done.
