2007 monaco knight. home at last

There are a few issues when we arrived at the house. It was Show an tell time and I ran the main awning out, went to re track back. It ran all the way to the metal housing case to try to roll over it. Instead of it going into. With help got on to the roof held the metal casing up. Then the the awning rolled up. On the dealer lot it had a black cover that was broken an end cap they replaced. I DIDN'T RECHECK it. It was in there it was in their shop. Could not extend it out. Now 240 miles from rv dealer in Saint Louis back home. Guess what Also the last owner installed a Horton 2 speed fan hub on the motor.Good or bad? The metal wirer cage that is installed on the bottom of the motor, does it need to stay on, and if it does, why? And thanks for the help lot of questions and no answers.

As far as your awning is concerned it sounds like it is rolling up backwards. If you were to continue to press the extend button after the awning is fully out it will continue to roll in that direction and begin to rewind itself backwards. Try pressing the retract button. This shoul cause it to unwind itself. When it gets to the fully extended position keep pressing retract and it should roll properly.

Good luck! GLORYROLLS

The wire cage below you engine is a rock guard. Always have it attached when travelling.

As for the two stage fan clutch, wish I have one. Will improve mileage and will increase horsepower to the rear wheels.

Good luck.
