2007 Navigator Looking hard at Purchasing

Well, missed a good deal on a Monaco 2006 Signature ( previous post) but just came across 2007 Navigator 50,000 miles fairly loaded - Detroit 60 engine, 3 year old tires and batteries. Tan in color- any thing I need to really have check out? Was the 2007 year when they were going out of business? Any concerns?
Coach is 45' . The longest I have driven is 40' no tag. Any concerns I should have with moving to a 45'. Any one know if it has IFS? Really concern about getting something this long. Any advice/insight from owners who have move up to this length would be appreciated. Not going full time - at least not any time soon. Just me and DW most of the time -- do have grand kids.
Thanks

Solid coach if taken care of if by IFS you mean independent front suspension the answer is no it has a solid axle with 4 bags and 4 shocks on the front. Other than old electronics no real issues get a good inspection done by someone that knows the model. Your probably too far away for me. Some things to consider is that the TV's could be much older than the coach as they were using up old stock to save money. We had one that 90 days after the customer bought it the Sony TV died only to have Sony say the TV was out of warranty. Do a good roof inspection and check all the slide seals. They were a great unit and many of my customers won't part with theirs.

We have a 2007 Nav with the DD Series 60. It is a great coach. We have replaced the TV's, and put a Winegard Travl'r dish on it. We are very happy with it. We full time, so 45' works for us. You do make a few sacrifices at that length as to campgrounds, but we've always felt it was worth it. Monaco was not going out of business in 2007. We honestly haven't seen another coach we would want instead of this one. Feel free to PM me if more questions. We have had ours since 2008.

We absolutely love ours, has the 525 Cummins ISX, plenty of power and plenty of room. One thing to look over is the hydraulic hoses for the slides & genny. On ours, they all had developed leaks at the fittings. Fortunately it was on the outside ones and not the ones going in the coach. Had to replace them all and it was about a $2,500 ordeal shortly after our purchase last Oct. Look over the Aqua Hot and test to make sure it works properly as that is a pretty expensive unit to replace. Mine still has all the original electronics and they work perfectly. These coaches ride and drive like a dream!! Bill767 is right that they don't just fit in any campsite, we plan accordingly when we travel to find places that we fit. More and more campgrounds are catering to these large rigs so not as much of a problem as it used to be. The Quality of these Navigators is pretty hard to beat. You'll see a lot of the newer coaches with splashy paint jobs, but when you get inside and look at the fit and finish as well as the woods and fabrics you'll see why these coaches were over a half a million when new. The navigator is a very nice rig, I believe monaco went belly up in 08-09.

Check the slide seals and the canvas slide toppers. If they're in good shape and no evidence of leaks at the slide corners, it's great. If there's been some leaks look real hard at the damage.

You will just have to remember it has the turning radius of the Queen Mary. It will take a full 6+ lanes to make a U turn.

Sounds like a great coach.
