I have a 2008 Diplomat model 40PDQ. I would like to install an exterior TV in the passenger side slideout below the double window behind the couch. I have everything I need but before I start the process I was wondering if anyone knows if there is any wiring in that wall. I cannot find anything on the web that helps me. Thanks for any information.

HootenHows, I saw a thread on this forum where a guy installed a flat screen in the large bay curb side below the window that you are describing. I have a 2007 40 PDQ with a vac installed in that bay and he removed the vac and the inspection panel and wired it to power behind the inspection panel. My buddy ordered a 2007 38 PDQ and it has the OEM outside tv mounted where you are describing. With that option there is a shelf mounted behind the couch that I really like. As far as the wiring in the wall I can't answer that because unless we pull the TV we can't tell. Hope this will give you a little help and at least a back up plan for wiring.

Please let us know how it goes and send pictures because I would like to do this also....I wish that I had ordered that option it is great.
