2008 Holiday Ambassador 38PLQ or 2007 Monaco Knight 40DFT

Switching from a gas unit to diesel. Any comments on such and on the 2 units being considered in title line are invited.

Didn't think they made a PLQ in 2008 and they were only available in 40 foot models.

The Knight and Ambassador are the same coach. If it is a PLQ I certainly recommend it. The lounge area in the bedroom certainly opens up the area. My DW uses the desk as a dressing table.

It was the selling point for the Knight we bought three years ago. Buy the one that has the layout that suits you the best.

Good Luck

Just traded in our 2007 Knight 40 ft DFT for our current rig. It was a great unit and we put 50k miles on it in 4 years. The engine was flawless and very minor other issues. But watch out for leaks around the corners of the full wall slide. The base of the slide began to delaminate on both ends. One of the reasons we decided to trade it in.

It might be a PDQ. Love ours. Solid rig.
