I have the power gear leveling system. When parking RV and setting up, can someone tell me if i am doing this correctly. After i get parked i am shutting offf the engine, dumping the air, only to restart the engine to operate the leveling system while holding the air dump on. After i get leveled i shut down the engine again. Am i doing this correctly.?

Your HR is before REV so our systems are different. While the engine is running can't you "hold down" the dump switch and release the air? If so that would eliminate a restart.

My Monaco (maybe the same for Holiday Ram) wants me to first put slides out on full air before leveling. So, I shut down the engine, extend slides, dump air and then drop jacks. I don't dump air very time. It depends on the terrain. If it looks like the front end may level high, I'll dump air to prevent the steps from having a high step to the ground.

The engine should not need to be running if the leveling system is electric/hydraulic. I just turn my key to the run position but do not start the engine.

I follow the manual on my 08 Endeavor.

Slides are run out or pulled in with the air bags filled.

With slides out and air bags full you can level while leaving the air in the bags or let the air out first.

As mentioned various conditions dictate weather I blow the air out or not.

You can press your brake pedal while pushing the air release button. Pump the brakes and the air comes out very quickly.

You might want to find the noisy screaming box behind the dash that is annoying while the key is in the run position but the engine is off. Once you find it just tape over the openings to make it far more comfortable.

On our 08 endeavor we park put slide out. Then dump air if needed Then start the coach and put the jacks down. On the three leg system for this year they recommend to run the engine due to the high power draw if the pump. You can either hold down that air dump stitch or wedge it open with a close pin trimmed down a bit

Our 2002 Windsor has air leveling only. I park, shut off the engine, extend the slideouts, dump the air, then auto level. That puts the entry step close to the ground for easy entry/exit.
