It's looking like we about to become the proud owners of a 2008 Knight 40 SKQ. It's coming from Lazydays, and has 18k miles.

Anything I should look for or worry about?

am I correct in assuming that the engine and trans are still warranted by cummins and allison, and everything else is out of warrantee anyway?

What about service on the roadmaster chassis?

If I assume no service has been done to the coach ever, what should I make sure they do before I take her home?

They said they were going to replace the front tires because they were worn on the edges. Is this mormal? Or should I check the alignment?

So let me offer "pre-congratulations". Looks like a fine rig (from what I've seen).

Simple & short answers:
- your thoughts on warranty status sound correct
- The Roadmaster chassis and indeed all moving parts need:
- new filters all around (w/ 2 fuel filters, power steering, & the dryer, etc.)
- new oil (main engine and genset)
- lube all zerk fittings
- test coolants to insure they're within specs
At 18K miles, the front tires should not be so cupped/worn as to need replacement, even if abused (under inflated). Yes: check alignment. While they're at it: repack the front bearings.

Happy motoring, and welcome to the club.

On the tires. Do a search on "rivering" tire wear. I had this on my last coach. Never got any worse, and happpened pretty quickly on the tire installation. Front tires only.
