I just received our coach back from the repair shop. They had it since October.
They had it winterized. I never saw how they did it.
I'm trying to DE-winterize it to use it.
I connected the city water and that worked to flush the lines.
I'm now trying to get the pump to build pressure. The pump comes on but no pressure. There are 2 small valves to winterize, I switched the valves open to close but still no pressure. The pump runs and runs and runs.
Help.

Whoever winterized the unit may not have know about the valves , have you checked that the pump is properly hooked up to the fresh tank ?

How about fridge or clothes washer lines?

Check the water pump circuit. They may have disconnected the suction line from fresh water tank. On my rig there is actually a water valve that I can shut off from the tank. Either of those 2 issues could cause your symptoms.

Hi DragRacer2; Just a guess here as I did not go online and read about your fresh water system in your 08 Dynasty. On older coaches like my 01 Windsor, we have a valve that has 2 positions in the wet bay. One of the positions is for filling the water tank. The other position is for when you are hooked up to city water. If you have water in the fresh water tank and leave the valve in the tank fill position and try to use the water pump, you will not get any pressure in the system. You must have the valve in the city water position to build pressure from the water pump. How do I know? Left the valve in the water tank fill position, turned off the city water at the faucet, gone inside and turned on the water pump and got no pressure. Then I remember, go outside to the wet bay, turn the fill valve to the city water position, now turn on the water pump and I have pressure. Those winterizing valves also might need to be in a certain position to get pressure in the system. Your Dynasty could have an automatic fill valve. Sometimes these auto fill valves misfunction and cause problems. I would go and read your owners manual about your fresh water system and see if you are missing a step or do not have a valve in the right position. Also hope you have enough water in the fresh water tank so that the water pump get a prime to get pressure. I could be all wet here since I am up to speed on a Dynasty. Just thought I would respond with a couple of suggestions!

If you hear the pump running and have no pressure, a valve somewhere is shut off. Did you check your Manabloc to make sure all water lines are open. I believe there is also a main shut off valve near the Manabloc, that stops water from flowing into the water pump. You mention you switched 2 small values open to close. Shouldn’t you leave them open?

I’m sure you know running the water pump without water, is likely to damage it in short order.

I have had my water pump get an air bubble on the inlet side and had to prime it. I was able to connect a water hose to one of the wintering drain valves and push water up through there. Only had to do this twice in ten years. It happens when I drain everything.
