Solution is solved very easy to determine model year, just look at the VIN plate ( for the coach) and read left to right, it's a 17 digit vin# that has all the information, now vin code POSITION 10 is the model year, if it is a 2009 it will have a "9" in the 10th position if it is a 2010 it will have a "A" in the 10th position. Now that was easy huh?

just look at the VIN plate
Check carefully. I've had 2 MH were the "engine" year was not the same as the "MH" model year.

Same here ! I have a 1999 coach and my engine was produced in oct of 98 most manufactures order the engine/chassis and they may sit in their lots for months before putting a "box" on them.
Just a side note to everyone, FEDERAL COMMERCE LAWS only allow manufactures to "enter into commerce" 1 calender year, that means that if you COULD buy a 2010 MY vehicle in calender year (cy) in 2009.
