I just purchased this used coach from a dealer in TX. This is my first RV. I bought it on 16 March 2011 and besides the 7 days we spent on the road the coach has been in the dealer most of time - for several issues. There are three issues that have me worry. One - the GEN keeps going off when we turn the AC off after driving for several miles. Two - the Ford AC doesn't blow like it should, sometimes - it's weak. Three - on the road test, before purchased, the driving felt pretty good. After we purchased and go it on the road I noticed that went you went over 70 MPH the front shook so hard I thought the dash was going to start falling apart. According to the dealer: they cannot find the GEN problem to duplicate, they can't find the AC problem to duplicate. On the shaking: they moved the front tires to the back - that helped a lot - and told me the rims on those tires were bad and they would not pay to replace them. I am very disappointed with this coach and beginning to think I made a mistake by buying it. I thought that buying a fairly new coach, with 1,400 miles, would not be risky but it seems like I may have made a bad decision. This RV was supposed to be my retirement reward, I retired from the Army with 25 years of active service, and it may end becoming the biggest headache. What do you all think? Am I getting ahead of the facts? - I did purchase a 7 year warranty which should help. I'm located in Fort Worth, TX and would love to get some recommendations for service shops. Thanks.

Welcome to the exciting world of RVing -- We`ve all had, & have, problems with our Money Pits, AKA, Motor Homes -- Email Steve Baldwin, ko5w@charter.net -- He lives in Ft Worth, & has a 07 Monaco -- Don`t tell him I said so, but he`s a pretty sharp guru in the MH world -- Thanks for your service, & best of luck -- Bill Willard

It's a Ford chassis and still under warranty with Ford...perhaps you can get to a Ford dealer to replace the bad rims...I've seen this issue before.

When we bought our HR many years ago had the same problem with out of round rims. Ford replaced the rims on warrantee.

You were right, I demanded the dealer replaced them. All they did, which they should have done to begin with, was had Ford replace them under the warranty. Thanks so much for the advise. I truly appreciate it.
