It was nice to see the new HR diesel MH's while having my coach serviced at Alliance Coach in Wildwood last week. I was there in Jan. when they were starting to carry some of Monaco's towable line but now in addition to consignments they had several new HR's on the lot. Looking at them makes it easy to get bit by the new coach bug... I overheard the salesman saying one of the new Neptunes had a MaxxForce 10 engine in it. Anyone have any feedback on that compared to the cummins??? I believe I may head back up this week to take a closer look.

time2go, I can't say for sure exactly what the difference is going to be but take it out for a ride. Note: You are not going to be able to find a Urea tank.

I was at the HRRVC rally in Perry GA last week. The speaker from Navistar said the engines were basically the same ones they use in their trucks and yes they WILL NOT use a fluid in the exhaust to meet emission requirements. They also gave updates on how they are going to improve the build quality that was so lacking before under Monaco.

This must have been during the bankruptcy. Our '01 HR hasn't had any build/quality issues....just normal maintanance and service.

Yup, our '00 HR Vacationer is still rolling along without problems. Not rolling much this year, though.

Maybe I am confused but the guy who was in charge at Monaco is still the guy in charge so where will the big changes take place?
Better quality control?
Time will tell for sure!
