After opening the main propane valve, how long does it take for air to bleed from the line to the cooktop? The refer and waterheater lit with in 10 minutes. Is there a shut off valve to the cooktop?

The coach has not been driven since opening the valve on the propane tank.

After being in storage for an extended period, my cooktop needs about 45 seconds (of "high" gas) before the propane reaches it. I always use the cooktop to "get the gas going" before lighting-off the hot water heater and/or the refer.

I also light the cooktop before turning on the refrigerator and water heater. It usually takes about 10 seconds for the LP to reach the stove and light. Also, after ten seconds if I don't light the stove I can smell LP.

You may have a regulator issue, in that there is not enough gas reaching the burners if W/H and fridge are also burning.

You might try lighting the high-output burner with a match rather than the sparker knob- sometimes that works better.

THANKS TO ALL WHO REPLIED I HAVE FIXED THE PROBLEM (a kinked rubber hose under the refer) believe the "KINKER" was my local RV tech working under the refer on an unrelated issue.
