400 ISL Water Pump Hose Spring

I have a 2008 Monaco Diplomat with a 400HP Cummins.

I am about to replace all radiator hoses and flush the system.

Mine is a Rear Radiator with 2.25 inch hoses.

My question is, Does the Engine coolant hose from the Water Pump to the Oil cooler have a spring in it ?

I have purchased the hoses, but want to be sure I get it right

Thanks

Wayne

The springs in rad hoses are to prevent the hose collapsing , due to the suction of the pump while moving the coolant through the engine. If the hose is on the outlet side of the pump they seldom have the spring.

10Boomer,

Do you have the part number of the hose with the white stripe going to the water pump?

I have purchased a Day 70921 hose, but it feels flimsy and I am concerned it could collapse.

I understand in the suction side of the water pump that the spring would prevent collapsing, just want to be sure I have one before I take it all apart.

We live full time in the RV and any Downtime makes the wife a little cranky

I will look, itís a white stripe Napa hose. They are stiffer than say green or yellow stripped. I havenít removed it yet, the mid hard pipe is back ordered for two weeks.
