Interested in the subject - the 5000 mile change is not required anymore. Your 2007 surely must be in range of the change. Here is Service Bulletin that covers SN's

Ecker...
We read that .. and it said our number needed the 5k service... our serial number was before 6510670912 so SacsTC has done it...

Ronboc... the next time we need that filter is about 95,000 miles from now...and SacsTC is NOT a packrat ...(unlike someone else in this household ) I will have to learn to stop that habit whenever we finally can go fulltime.

Just checked SacsTC notes...our Dip was built in May or June 2006 and our tranny number is 6510644955.
It is important to make sure that you check your S/N even though you have a 2007

Gee, I have one sitting on a shelf as well. Put them together and we get................(leave it to the imagination of readers).

I take it your new unit didn't come with the high density Allison transmission filters. If it did (they have a transmssion cut off serial number listed in their policy statement) then you no longer need the 5k oil or primary filter change.

But, I assume you knew this anyway.

Hmmmm... I've been trying to come up with an excuse to move up already (don't we all?), and what better than to point out that we could get a really good deal on a 5k-mile tranny-filter.

Yup, that oughtta throw all of her other arguments right out the window, I bet.
