I just put new front tires on our 99 HR Endeavor and the Good year dealer said not to mix tire sizes. My coach has Michelin 255 80 R22.5 on it, but if your doing all six I don't know if it would make any big difference..But I would check with a tire dealer..

Be sure that when going to a larger size that you do not reduce the clear space between the rear duals (inside to inside) and remember that a heavier load will cause more bulge. If contact ocures while going down the ro\ad, heat buildup and possible failure could result

My 2000 Holiday Rambler Endeavor (dp) came with xrv 255x80x22.5 tires, and the previous owner had several blowouts. After weighing the coach and determining that the left front was 800 pounds heaver than the right front and that the left front was carrying the max load for the tire, I decided to upgrade tire sizes.

In August of 09, I replaced all 6 tires with Sumitomo 727 tires in the 275/70R22.5 size. All the specs fit my rims and dual spacing. Tire is slightly wider, and the new tires make 549 revs/mile where the old tires made 541 revs/mile, so the speedometer error is so small that I can't detect a difference.

The load range H vs the G's I removed gives more load carrying ability and/or the ability to run less tire pressure for better ride. Pleased so far with the tires, ride, and handling
.

If you decided to go with a different size, do your own research on dual spacing, tire width, and rev's per mile as some tire dealers will only guess on these details.

Hope this info helps.

Fred

Mine came with 235/80/22.5 and I now have 255/70/22.5

Does change the speedometer readings by 1 % due the different tire diameter.

You can order parts directly from Velvac.

Untitled Document

If in doubt about correct part after looking on-line, call them. They have a restocking fee on returns, so best to get it right the first time.

I put Toyo M154's on my steer tires earlier this year due to a blow out on the Sumitomo tires the previous owner had put on less than a year ago... I'm very pleased with the M154's in 245/75R22.5 and will put them on the rears next. Tremendous improvement in ride quality and stability and they were very near perfectly round which I cannot say about the Sumitomo's they replaced. I got mine for $300/ea. mounted, balanced and on the rig all in less than 2 hours on a Saturday afternoon. Thank you Les Schwab in Weed CA.
