97 Monaco Dash
I have a 97 Monaco Windsor and the corners of the dash have broken off and its cracked arround the backup monitor, Does anyone have any ideas were I can get a new dash. I have tried Monaco and N/W motorhome parts and no luck. Monaco says try Actia ?
Thanks
Andy

I also have a 97 Windsor. I have been able to locate some parts like the tank measurement control board, CO detector, and 4-button thermostat, but others are just not available any more. I suspect we are about 10 years too late to find a replacement dash.

This is covered in another thread, but for anyone that needs a 4-button Duo-Therm thermostat, William Hendrix will exchange your 4-button thermostat for a refurbished unit.
His email: whendrix@aol.com
To switch to the new 5-button thermostat requires changing the control boards in each of the air conditioners because the system uses a new interface.

I am assuming that yours is made out of plastic like mine on my 1998 Monoco Dynasty. Mine is cracking also. When I get around to replacing mine I will not replace it with another plastic one. I am figuring since I have to remove all the gages and switches etc. that I would just take it to a Precision sheetmal fab shop and have them copy it in 1/16" aluminum.

Tony, I agree. The old plastic dash would make a great template. You could anodize the aluminum and it would look great.
This guy makes custom dashes for race cars and should be able to do motorhomes. He made me a dash, we then anodized it and sent it back to him and he engraved it with custom labels.
