99 Holiday Rambler Endeavor heater core

Need a replacement heater core for the dash heat/defrost on our HR Endeavor Diesel Pusher. Bought it used in May 2018 and didn’t think about heat. Found out it doesn’t work and investigation revealed it was bypassed and one inlet broken off. Any ideas on where to find another core??
Thanks.

Watching this. Same problem with my 94 Alumalite.

BTW, If I need heat or to defrost the windshield, etc, I run the generator and use an electric heater. works well, but more expensive in fuel use.

I had the same problem, If it is a good copper core it can probably be rebuilt at a good radiator shop Mine was and I had it done here in Marietta, Ga. There is also this place on the internet but its pricey http://www.acmeairparts.com/rvacheaterparts.php
Also you can check with this guys https://rvexteriorbodypanels.visonerv.com/ai/index.html

Contact Radiator Supply House in Sweet Home Oregon. They were able to build me a new radiator out of copper and steel instead of alum. and a new alum, CAC. Both from HR prints; they can probably build you a new heat core. TB

My 98 had same issue, the core was all brass with copper connectors for the hoses. I was able to resolder the tube back no problem so any shop should be able to do same.

The sharp bend puts pressure on the joint, need to be careful when working with the hoses. I put some vaseline on inside of my hoses so theyd slip right on.

Id also run flush through it while its off i got quite a lot of residue out of mine.

If yours is same materials as mine id definitely have it repaired it will last longer than the rest of the motorhome.
