Our new pride and joy arrived this morning...1999 HR Navigator 42DSS. Been scouring through all the manuals etc. The HR manual is as good as useless. It seems RV makers write manuals very generically and hope the component manufacturers make up for it. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

Anyway...for those that may have similar system setups to me, I would appreciate your help on SEVERAL items:

1. Who makes keyless entry systems? I have no manual for it...just a couple of remotes with two buttons "1" and "2" on them. Any ideas? It also appears to only operate the locks on the front PS storage bay. The main door lock does not seem to operate at all. Is that normal?

2. I have an audible warning tone coming from the dash but with no associated warning lights at all. It appears to be connected to / affected by the AIR leveling system. When in "travel" mode, it make a continuous high-pitched beep. When I switch to "AIR" mode on the HWH controller, the beep is immediately silenced. I found the alarm itself is behind the dash. The HWH shows "travel" yet it sounds this continuous beep. Any ideas?

3. Will probably call Aqua-hot about this one, but my front zone is not putting out heat (and yes I had a pre-purchase inspection done and I guess he missed this obvious one). All the front zone fans work when the thermostat calls for it but none of them are putting out heat, just cold air. Rear zone works great. Hot water works fine too and so does the basement zone (as far as I can tell).

4. Aquahot manual talks a lot about the either 2-switch or 3-switch control panel and says refer to the coach maker to find out where the panel is located. Well....I can't find the panel anywhere so I wanted to confirm with someone who has a Monaco/HR product with factory installed Aquahot... I have a center console rocker switch labeled "AQUAHOT". I'm assuming this controls just the diesel burner? Next to that switch I have a "ENGINE PRE-HEAT" rocker which I'm thinking is for the Aquahot engine preheater. Elsewhere I have a BLOCK HEATER switch, so I'm thinking the preheat switch is the aquahot engine heat loop. I also have a switch in the kitchen that says "110 V Water Heater" which I am assuming is the Electric Heater switch for the Aquahot, right? HR doesn't appear to use Aquahot's control panel, they've split things up, if I'm right.

That should do it for now. My main thing is to get rid of the annoying continuous BEEEEEEP while I'm driving and get my heating system fully working.

Thanks!!

Ray

PS. This is our first motorhome. Owned a 5er before this, so I'm new at the DP thing.

I think you will find that the keyless sys is a Ford/Lincoln.
