Pretty poor wording on my part and sorry for the confusion.
My point was that a larger displacement a/c compressor will do nothing without re-engineering and changing many of the components in the existing a/c system such as adding a larger more efficient a/c condenser and a larger evaporator or even a second evaporator and the likes.
