I have a/c problems
a/c goes off and will not come back on..
You can turn it on , I doesn't make any difference any difference how hot it is
it will come on and run all day and cycle, but around 1AM it starts cycling and
each cycle is shorter until the last time it runs about a minute , goes off and will not come back on.. Makes no sense, but if you close the bedroom door it runs longer. For example, I started the generator about 10 am Friday morning,
turned on the a/cs and drove about 200 miles (100 degree +)to a RV park, plugged into a 50amp shore power. It ran all the way and until 2 am and went off, I turned and punched every thing I could find and nothing would happen. It came back on abound 8 am by itself.. It ran all day and until 5 am this morning
went off (5 PM NOW)and I have not been able to get it back on, Fan will run but no a/c

How about Make and Model of the A/C.
Are you saying this is the bedroom A/C unit.?
IS there a auto start for this unit.?

I will attach the trouble shooting manual for you, you better hope you dont have to buy a new unit because the intake air has a squall that Duo therm dont seem to have a answer for, its coming from a new designed plastic intake air box thats been on the market over a year now and they act like they have never heard of the problem before. I have found a number of folks with this problem with one guy having 3 units installed before giving up although he did say the third unit was quieter.

All of a sudden, neither of my Airs will come on with the Generator! We are home in Vermont till October, and have no elect. to try it on shore power! I checked the Gen breakers! Have tried with and without the Inverter! Have the Duo and that single therm switch! Any wild ideas? Help! allegro5

Double check that you have 12V input to the controller.

Not sure that this will help in this situation but, a friend with a 2002 Endeavor was having A/C problems that sound very similar to these and found that his problem was the 12volt flourescent lighting ballasts.

This happened to me this week with a 2002 Diplomat. Bedroom fluorscent, AC works when off, I have a new light ordered, should be at home when I return from the beach.

Yes i have resolved the promlem. The prob,em was not with my motorhome, but with the RV parks putting 50 amp receptacles in their boxes but onlyu providing 30 services throught those receptacles.
Once I plugged into a true 50 amp service the problem disappeared...

Thanks

In My case, I found a badly burned white wire in the box that switches power from shore to Generator! I spliced in a couple new wires! All I have at home, is 20amps, so cant try the Airs. But the Airs fans now come on, so I assume alls well! Allegro5
