Installed a XM radio, ran the antenna, etc, today. Pulled radio and hooked everything up, works great. When I started the coach , to drive home, the ABS and the ATC lights, were, both, lit up. They were not on earlier. Tried shutting off, restarting; no help. The ATC pushbutton has no effect on anything.
I am taking it to Ocala Cummins Coach Care to get the codes.

Any ideas, where to look???? I cann't see anything disturbed, under the dash, and all the fuses are OK. Help, the tractionless Muffin Man.

We probably can say that the XM install and the ABS/ATC lights are coincidental. I'm sure you're aware that ABS/ATC are "tied at the hip" in terms of how ATC really works (it does not lock the differential, for example....an urban legend).

FWIW: Try "resetting" this error by turning off the chassis-battery master switch. If you don't have one, just disconnect the chassis battery bank for a minute or two, then re-connect same. Suggest that you not be plugged into shore power while doing this (in an attempt to assure that a charge-path is not sending juice to the chassis side of things).

Looking forward to other replies on this one!!

In the front run bay, there is a relay with a reset button specifically for the purposes of resetting it--somehow--check owner's manual or call Monaco tech support...I bet with all the disconnecting you did, you might have thrown the relay for a loop.

Follow up - Parked coach overnight, with both disconnects, shut off. Today, when I drove it, both lights (ABS & ATC) were on. Drove about 1 mile, and both went out. I remembered, yesterday, I drove through some soft sand and gassed it. I must have spun one side to kick in the ATC, don't know about the ABS, but both are clear now. Thanks, the Muffin Man.

If tires spun it would have engaged. At five mph it should reset itself. They both atc and abs read off of wheel sensors and a tone ring. you may have a loose wheel sensor but it will stay fixed or the sensor will burn out. one per wheel if you have rear drum they can get tricky but fronts are easy. they just read resistance through a copper coil. It wont affect your driveability except the annoying light on. good luck.

Both of my front wheel sensors moved to far away from the drum and I had to have a shop push them back in. It has never happended again as to the asp/atc lights staying on. In my case the cruise control would not engage when the lights were on.
