ABS light illuminated

I've found a couple of other ABS threads, but they're not what I have. 2004 HR Ambassador. ABS light illuminates any time the key is ON and does not go off. Located the ABS relay board in the front run bay and tried the faults code recovery tests in the owners manual without any success.
The relay board is Monaco #16614041, KIB #ABSRM1. There is an amber light on the board that is illuminated any time the key is ON which prevents any blink codes from being displayed.
I believe the board has been discontinued by KIB leaving some kind of repair as the only option available.
Has anyone run into this problem? Has anyone had a board repaired or replaced?

This only means you do not have aniti-lock brakes, nothing else is affected, nothing. Remember when you learned to drive? You were taught how to prevent the brakes from locking.
If you don't mind a used replacement board, try https://rvparts.visonerv.com/
Their website states they test a part before it it shipped, but all sales are final.

Mine was on all the time and I found one of the wheel sensors was gone, replace the
sensor and it''s been good ever since.

Thanks Oldguy70. Was the fault light on the board itself illuminated all the time? How did you know which sensor was the culprit? Would your system test, i.e., blink codes?

The small LED light on the ABS board should not be on all the time. You might try unplugging it for a while to see if it resets.
I used my board to check fault codes. The procedure was to turn the ignition on without starting, after ~5 seconds press the brake pedal 1 time, go outside and around to the board and press the black button 1 time for ~1-2 seconds (if you press it too long it sends the system into Dyno mode and the ABS light stays on all the time). After releasing the button the LED light will blink a code, 1-1 means there are no faults. The fault code will tell you what problem is causing the ABS light to stay on. Last time I had a problem the code told me the front drivers side sensor was out of calibration. I took the sensor out, cleaned it, and pressed it back in. Once I drove the coach the ABS light went out.

There should be a section in your manual that covers this.

Good morning Tomclayton1; Follow Jim's instructions. They are 100% correct! Had the same problem on my previous 2000 Monaco Windsor that uses that same board. Did a self diagnosis and got the 1-1 code and the light went out and had no more problems. Also can't remember how the board is grounded so make sure everything is clean and free of rust. Visone RV Salvage sometimes has those boards on their web site if your board is bad. Sometimes they go south. Guarantee RV in Junction City Oregon used to advertise on their web site that they had a source to repair those KIB boards. Follow Jim's instructions and see where it leads you. Also let us know what you find as others here can always benefit. Good luck!

We had that problem when we first bought the coach (used). We found it to be the wheel sensors sticking. The light was not on all the time but it could be the same problem.
