I have a switch that lets me select either the 3rd AC or the washer dryer.
I am not sure why this is so when i am using a 50Amp 240VAC power outlet which gives out 100A 120VAC.
I would like to use this 3rd AC and the washer/dryer
Has anyone done this?
Jim

With any 50 amp service you don't have 100 amps available but rather 50 amps on each of 2 legs. I would suspect that if you had 2 airs plus the dryer running on the same circuit (along with the other things not yet mentioned) you would easily exceed your 50 amp limitation.
