AC won't turn off

My '09 Camelot has 2 15K BTU AC units, one at each end. And, a 13.5K unit in the middle. Everything has worked fine for the 5 years we had the coach.

Typically, once you turn the air on, it takes about 5 minutes for the AC to turn on. Some kind of electronic delay, I guess. But recently the middle unit (only) begins to run as soon as you turn it on. But more problematic, it will not turn off unless you turn it off at the thermostat. Even if the inside temp is 75F, and you set the thermostat to 95F, it won't turn off.

Any AC gurus have any idea where to look/troubleshoot?

John

Are the fans set to AUTO or do you have them set to HIGH or LOW?

Brand of units?
Setup as 2 or 3 zones?

I have had a similar issue. Try this, turn down the temp on the AC that won't turn off, enough that you hear the compressor come on. You may have to turn it down quite a bit, then when you hear the compressor start, turn it off. It will still take a few moments, but if it's like mine it will turn off. Don't know why this happens, and it's been intermittent on mine, and they are new units??????

I had a similar problem. Was advised to remove the small fuse inside the thermostat cover (easily snapped off) for a few seconds, reinstall. It worked for me.

Thanks for the replies. Found the manual and followed the reset procedure (power off, hold both the ZONE and MODE buttons, power on) and it appears to have worked.
