Adding a Pump Converter

Because my 99 Windsor has no gravity fill, I've been trying to find a more permanant way of occasionally adding bleach to my fresh water tank and also have a way to add fresh water from a container when boondocking. It seems like something like this should work:
Pump Converter Winterizer Kit - Item - Camping World

I know that is not it's purpose, but it looks like it would do the trick. It appears to connect directly to the IN side of the pump, has all the apparently needed fittings, is inexpensive, readily available, etc. I just don't see a down side. Any experience or opinions, yay or nay?

Thanks, Phil

Probably will work well for sanitizing all of the pipes. But I don't think it'll do anything for sanitizing the fresh water tank. I think that's an important part of the process, you need to get that sanitizing solution into the tank.

Pour your sanitizing fluid into a empty water hose as you use for water connection while hooked up. It will clean out hose also.
Turn your water valve to fresh water fillup position.
If your using bleach remove your filters if you have them.
The kit will work when you winterize when you hookup to pump inlet.
