Adding bleach?

I am in the "idea" stage of adding some bleach to the fresh water tank for a bit of a cleaning. This means I am thinking about it.
What I did think of also is that the water fill is pressure hose drivin, not a gravity deal like our old coach.
So just how does one get bleach into the fresh water tank with out going out and making me read wads in the manual?
What am I missing, it must be simple.
Thanks in adavance for answering such an elementary question!

Well back when I was really being cheap I just hooked up an empty hose to the coach then climbed a ladder and and using a funnel poured the bleach into the hose then hooked it up to the faucet. A few years ago I purchased a water filter system that I just pull the filter out of and put the bleach in the filter housing then run the water into the coach.

Hook the hose to the camper. Pour bleach into the hose. Keep the hose end elevated while attaching to the faucet and turn on the water. The water will push it into the tank as it fills it. The bleach slug also helps keep the hose clean.

On the two Dutch Stars they had a pickup hose off the pump for winterizing. I could mix a batch of bleach and water and put the hose in the bucket and draw it right in. The Magna has a gravity fill but it's kind of hard to get to.

Thanks for the ideas! I guess there's no "easy" way.
The bleach in the hose then turn on the water plan makes the most sense to me.
Thanks again!

I use one of these:

http://www.amazon.com/Mighty-Pump-Mi...en+hose+siphon

Works like a charm and will empty a gallon of bleach quickly as I fill

I usually put bleach in the hose. Like norther mark said, it sanitizes the hose too.

I take the filter out of my filter cartridge ( I have a filter cartridge that I usually connect to the water supply at campground sites and put in line before I connect to my water supply hose connection on the coach) I then put in the measured amount of bleach required to disinfect the tank and lines connect to coach supply inlet and fill fresh water tank, then turn pump on to flush and fill all supply lines with bleach solutions let sit for 3 or 4 hrs. then drain and flush tank and all lines.

This looks great...I read how it works and I think the little "t" in the middle is where you probably stick a small suction hose into you bleach container..is that right?

Don't for get to remove any filter with charcoal in it. The charcoal will filter out the bleach.

My 02 has a gravity fill in addition to the pressure fitting. Yours does not have this?

A fertilizer attachment for a garden hose will work also to hold the bleach as you fill.

I pour the bleach solution into the empty water hose... connect the hose... and turn on the water supply faucet.

If it does I have no idea where it is.
It isn't in the wet bay.

Where is yours may I ask?
