Adding Furniture to 2005 Monaco Signature 40', 41' or 42'

We are looking at a 2005 Monaco Signature that is very well appointed except for the living and dining areas. They have the more typical lounging chair and desk plus the table and chairs for the dinette. We specifically want the coach (on both sides) and the stationary double bench with the stationary but hinged table arrangement. While the cost to do this furniture upgrade after purchase is NOT cheap... That's what we want.

So, the question: These upgrades would obviously add considerable weight to the street-side forward slide - moving as well as stationary (weight on the slide's suspension and salon's floor). If the floor is tile, am I looking for problems (cracks for this additional weight)? For the coaches with these two item originally build in from the factory:
1. Would they have been originally built for this extra weight
2. Is the extra weight not a concern
3. Is the side construction and carrying capacity the same from the factory

Hopefully what I wrote here makes sense.

We have a coach similar to a sig. It is 05 HR navigator. We left the desk and recliner on the driver side. We removed the couch on passenger side and replaced it with two recliners and a coffee table between. What I'm getting at is changing furniture around doesn't change the weight much. Not to worry.

I am not all that sure that the changes you want to make will weigh that much differently. You will be removing a lot of wood and replacing it with a little wood and lots of fabric and a little metal framing. There are Surplus places in Elkhart, Indiana and other places which may have new items like what you would need, or there are RV Surplus and Salvage yards that have a variety of furniture like the dinette that could be refinished and restored. Colaw and Visone come to mind for Salvage and used. I believe the slides would be built the same as far as capacity goes. If, for instance, you were going to use a regular residential hide-a-bed, it would be way heavier, I think, than would be an RV designed air mattress hide-a-bed. You would have to do a little comparison of weights and materials. Someone else may have more to offer. Hope this may help. Happy Trails Bert
