All my slide covers are tight except the one on the big slide . It's nice and tight on one side and floppy loose on the other side . I'm pretty sure it happened from a big rain, snow storm and it really sagged it down on one side when the water pooled up on it. My question is how do you take the slack out of the cloth cover ?is there a adjusmt screw are somthing ?

It's a 2008 holiday rambler Neptune and the slide covers I think are made by carefree colorado

gto19.....Unless someone has a better idea, there is really no way to fix the stretched slide cover unless you remove it and sew the loop in the one end a little tighter. That cover is very easy to remove if you do this Carefree Slide Topper Repair/Replace. If you scroll down in the above post you'll see how to easily remove the big slide cover. After removal you can cut off the cuff that holds the plastic tubing at the rofline and sew a new cuff onto the material. When you sew the new cuff, make it tighter (shorter) at the end tah is sagging. I had an upholstery shop resew mine in a couple of minutes for about $20.00.

Get it wet and then dry it with a large heating element in place this will do the job.

I have one if you need it
