Hi ...
What would the adj. Be needed for ? Put at a higher angel for rain fall....if so for rain ... Saw this idea in motorhome magazine ... Take tennis balls and insert under topper and on top of slide out in the middle or one at each end of the topper this will make a rise on the top of the topper ... so that the ran doesn't build up .. This will avoid rain build up and possible damage
Marc

I've seen two answers to this question (I have the same problem). First, you can't adjust the topper because it is already stretched out of shape, and second, you can. I tend to believe the first even if you could adjust the topper bracket in some manner. If the fabric is already stretched, then it is weakened and will only get worse.

Make and model of topper would help also what is it mounted on. What are you trying to adjust for?

I have A&E toppers (2) on my Itasca Suncruiser. I think they are 16' and maybe 10'. Mine are stretched primarily because of the daily 25-40 mph wind that billows them up dramatically here on the Oregon coast. I'm planning on getting new ones when I get home because I don't think that adjusting the roller and arms (if possible) would provide any more than very temporary help.

That is a great idea, and yes the adj. was needed to keep water from pooling on top. thanks for the idea raybornh

This would not help with mine as where it comes out from the side of the MH to the front when extended, it slopes quite a bit, perhaps a foot at the wall to 6" when extended. There is nowhere where a tennis ball would help. A basketball, maybe, but a tennis ball no.

People have suggested (used) baskeyballs as well---others those foam floating tubes because they are long and raise the entire cover and can be cut to size-----just depends on the situation---basically use what is required/desired under there to accomplish the result---short of sticking one of the Gkids up there I guess.
