I have a 2002 Windsor with the auto air leveling. When I park it after using it I usually just leave the coach at ride height and let it drop with time. Lately I've noticed after only one day the front is all the way down and the rear is still at drive level. Does this mean I probably have a air leak in the front system.
Also, is that a small compressor I see under the coach mounted just behind the front axle? I have search my manual for mention of this and can't find anything about it. I think I found something on another thread that says it's for the air level if the air in the tanks gets below a certain point.

Yes you have an air leak in the lines that feed the front air bags, one of the front bags, or the air manifold where the air lines run to each air bag, or the front ride height control. Use a spray bottle with a soapy solution and spray the air lines to find the leak.

The small compressor only operates when power is on in the coach and air in the tanks is low. When the level becomes un-level, the small compressor will run to reestablish level by pumping air as needed. It is small and does not add air as fast as the engine compressor.

If your coach is stored, and the power is off, the small compressor will not run.

Thanks for the reply. I kind of figured thats what was going on but wanted to get another opinion. My next thing is to see if that compressor is working or not. I got an extended warrenty when we bought the coach about two years ago and I'm working on a list of repairs so I only have to pay one deductable.

With power ON in the coach, air dumped, the HWH air leveling system set for automatic, the compressor should be active. It will come on ONLY when the coach senses an out-of-level condition. There are two 12 vdc leads to the compressor, one switched 12-vdc (black wire 9700) which will be hot when the ignition is on, and one 12-vdc (red wire 6104) that is hot anytime the system is turned on, and may have a 15-amp in-line fuse near the compressor.

The control box sends the switched 12-vdc to the pressure switch on the compressor. If pressure is low, a 12 volt relay located on the compressor unit will energize and the compressor will run.

If you don't have the HWH manual for your system, go to their web site and download it. They also will have an installation manual and a troubleshooting procedure you can download.
