Air dryer filter

Hi everyone, I am new here but not new to RV'ing. Well we bought our 2005 beaver about a year ago and until yesterday thought I had brought everything up to date, I was wrong I forgot the air dryer. I want to change the filter asap but don't know the type to buy. Does anyone know what monoco used in 2005? Thanks

My 2005 Safari Cheetah has a Meritor Air Dryer Filter, it was easy to change, I will see if I can find the part # for you.

My 2006 Monaco Diplomat has a Meritor Wabco dryer and the cartridge part number is R950011

That is very funny I just bought item #330373670324 a few bucks more but still a good price

It's time for me to change the filter on our 04 HR Imperial ISC 400 anybody know what is involved in changing it? Where is it and what does it look like?

On mine which it ls located on the passenger side of engine compartment at the very back( against bumber) it looks like a large fat oil filter. there are great write ups on this forum about it. Not hard just need to make SURE all air is out of system.

Ron on the Dynasty it is located above the transmission at the back of the engine and up in the frame area & not easy to change, you might want to give it a good wash down in the filter area before you change it, I believe your Imperial will be in the same place.

This is what it looks like the large white filter on the left. Mine is on the street side compartment in the rear of the coach in front of the electric cord compartment.

Beaverfamily....If it's the original, it may be hard to get off. You'll need a large/sturdy strap wrench. Make sure you drain all of your air. Now would be a good time to drain your tanks.

Remove the old air dryer and make sure that the o-ring comes off with it. You don't want any oil or grease in the system, so if you want to lube the o-ring, do so sparingly. Spin it back on like an oil filter and make it snug with your hands.

Expect the old one to be hard to spin of!
