Any help would be appreciated! Have a 2000 Windsor DP. The air horn worked fine, then became intermittent and now won't at all. I noticed the "Hadley" Relay on the firewall above the dash was fried, so I replaced it... still no horn?? The steering wheel is an adjustable one with headlamps, wipers, etc in it (as well as the horn button)!
I checked the fuses in the panal on the left front outside and they are fine.
Thanks for any help

I guess checking to see if the relay clicks when the horn button is pressed is where I would start. I expect that air horns must have a solenoid to control airflow, so next I guess locate that solenoid and check that it gets powered from the relay when the horn button is activated. After that it's all up to airflow.

If the air horn is on the roof it could be goulded also. Run a air hose to it and make sure the horn works.
Horns usally work when grounded to the frame and not the to positive wire. it should be from the Button to the Relay to a
Solenid Air valve, it will have electric and air going into it then a air line up the the horn. Hope this helps,

I had the stock air horn on my 2000 Diplomat stop working. Traced the problem to the wire going up the steering column to the horn button. My wheel doesn't have all the fancy controls on it, only the horn. I located the wire at the base of the column and grounded it. The horn worked, but it wouldn't work if I grounded it at the horn button. For some reason there was an extra wire running up the steering column that I used to solve the problem.

Thanks all..... took the top of the steering wheel off and cleaned the connections and it works!!!! Honk, Honk!!!! Love the sound of a diesel air horn!!!! It only has 2 wires coming up to it, but a major circuit board to control all the "stuff" on the steering wheel..
Again, thanks all... I'm tooting again!!!

Downsizer, we recently purchased a 2000 Monaco 38'. The horn did not work when I purchased it and thought nothing of it, thinking was can't be to difficult to fix. Problem is I can't located the darn thing. I did find a red air hose next to the generator that releases air when the horn cap is depressed on the steering wheel, may be the horn is missing all together. Can you tell me where the horn located?

Thanks
Randy
