Len.....the way the Camelot and Scepter were built, the engine compartment has a flat level roof and nowhere for the hot air to go. You're side radiator sucks outside air in and blows it across the engine. The problem is it blows a lot of the air at and under the engine.

The ultimate fix is to do what the others did. Our friends have a Camelot and their son was handy and added the vents to theirs along with two fans inside.

Hi Bill,my name is Jim Yates and I own a 2004 Monaco Windsor. As you know there's a lot of heat that collects in the dead space where you located that vent. I would like to get one of those vent panels, did you add fans or just the vent and how much did it drop the temp ? Thanks,Jim Yates.

Not mine. That cutout in the engine cover is wide open. If your not carefull with the hose while washing, you'll drown the engine thru that opening !

I believe it was just an 07 issue and maybe a year or two prior.

Jim -- At first I did add a 10 inch fan, & moved it to 2 different locations to see which one worked the best -- I didn`t take any temp readings --The fan was on a switch, & I left it off at times to see if there was any difference in the closet heat -- My wife was the judge of that - She said it was the same with the fan on or off -- I removed the fan & added 1 1/2 inch dense foam board that I got at Lowe`s on the closet floor, & that seemed to work just as good -- Bill Willard
