air suspension died!

Have 2005 Monaco Knight, and when starting out today found that it took a great deal longer for the air pressure to build to stop that annoying sound. Once underway, I realized that while the sound was gone and the gauge was reading a normal number the suspension was bottoming out with the least tiny bump in the road. I ended up driving it around 10mph to my Son's house and am trying to sort out why it would do this. Anyone else out there had the same experience?

Thanks,

Casey

I bet you have a leak big enough to hear. Start it up and fill the air tanks then shut it off and step outside and listen for a hissing sound and track it down to a location.

This would be my suggestion as well.

air leak issue

Thanks for your replies. After careful inspection, I found that a small stone had lodged itself under the Dump Air toggle switch preventing the system from filling properly. Once that was resolved, life was good again.

Appreciate your responses,

Casey

Well I was correct you should have been able to hear that dumping air. Glad it was an easy fix. How did a small stone get lodged into the dump switch?

small stones and small grandchildren

Can't vouch for this, but sometimes little hands can create big issues. Thanks again for your support.
