All done. For the first time ever the Diplomat is now travelling "forwards".

The box was under the plastic cover and put in backwards. It wasn't fixed to the "ceiling", but the box is not big enough to allow the box to turn, so it was put in backwards originally.

Happy days

Thanks y'all.

Henrik,
Mine is screwed to the ceiling and the plastic box cover is screwed over it. Glad you got it fixed.

Henrik,

After reading your post I checked and my compass is in the same location. Now that you have corrected it you will be abel to find all of the places that you thought you found.

I just found mine. It is located in the cabinet holding all the wiring for the drawer dishwasher and the shower hoses. The cabinet cover looks like a rolling wooden door. Now if I knew what it's purpose is?

Wait a minute. If the box is supposed to be screwed to the ceiling of a compartment and you install it on the floor instead, doesn't it need to be pointing the other way? Is it a solid state compass chip or a ring laser? If you install it on the floor with the arrow pointing forward and make a 90° right turn, the compass should read 90° higher after the turn.
