I have the Aladdin Jr in my coach. In the last few months I have been having an intermittent problem. I have notice that some of the data is incorrect Engine RPM will show 5, Gear Selected and Gear Attained are both 0, and boast show also is 0. All other reading look correct and if I turn off the engine and restart generally I get all reading correct. However just shutting down the Aladdin and restating it does not change anything. Any suggesting on where to start troubleshooting?

Thanks

I have the same problem on my 2006 Diplomat. If I shut the engine off and restart, it corrects itself. I'll be following this post to see if anyone has a solution.

Found this short thread about your problem refers to a communication buss.
If you remove any plugs clean with contact spray and reconnect.

I have a similar problem. 07 Endeavor, get xxx for all engine data, Bay temps report accurately, cameras all work. Monaco says Aladdin is no longer used in new Monaco products, XXX's indicate loss of data from ECM, didn't have any good reset process, suggested a bad Aladdin unit, probably a bad pc board in the Aladdin controller. Suggested if I want the data to get a Silverleaf product. I have used a Silvefrleaf on an '02 HR with excellent results. No Aladdin solution from this end. LLL.

Does anyone know of an Aladdin web site that might supply tech support for their product?

On Mine (04 HR Imperial) the data frome the engine does not report correctly unless the ignition is on. This is true for the stored trip data too. The takn/temp and electrical data is correct all the time. There is a reset NVM setting on my unit which I have had to use to get it to unlock a couple of time. Have you tried that?

Our aladdin isn't working at all. Also, we had problems with the back camera working intermittantly, but the side ones worked fine. All of a sudden everything quite working at one time. Any thoughts??

Aladdin was a Monaco company that essentially disappeared when Monaco went bankrupt. Last I heard is that someone wanted to replace the Aladdin defunct company but was having problems getting around the patent issues associated with stepping in.

I had the aladdin XXX problem---tried asking for help---a lot of responces---with much appreciation----took to a shop in livermore,ca and they found that a fuse in the left front storage box gave a false positive----they replaced fuse and all XXXX readings went away and everything is working great!!!! wishing You all the best in your hunt to correct. I tore into everything that could be tried, before taking it in!!!!! suggest changing all fuses that are small amp!!!!! I believe it was a 7amp fuse!!!!
