Well I brought the MH home from winter storage and started preparing it for travel when I noticed the Aladdin tank levels all showed "XXXXX" Damn, my heart rate went way up. I know the Aladdin is no longer made or supported. I found the copy of the Aladdin Troubleshooting Guide and did research. Discovered the module for tank level had no power (no small red light flashing) but others did. The guide stated to change the data buss cable from one that worked with the tank level module cable. It then worked fine.... I looked at the cable and found one wire that was not pushed in all the way, some how it worked its way out of the plug. pushed it back in and it worked fine, what a relief.

Kinda makes you wonder what little creatures come out at night and unplug connectors just for fun.

They were around when I was in the Navy and unplugged connectors in the aircraft then they followed me to my MH.

We used backed out pins in connectors as trouble shooting tools in training for new products. It was real fun to find a bug and insert one of your own for the instructor to try and find before he could do the next student.
