In my Aladdin, I set the alarm function to beep when engine reaches 2650 rpm. This is to notify me that the transmission is about to upshift, regardless of gear selected, to keep the engine from over revving. With my original Jacobs exhaust brake, and my replacement PRXB PacBrake, this could be a problem if I didn't stay glued to the tach. On my latest trip, with the redesigned PRXB, I had no problem going down the mountains on I-8 going to San Diego. But I thought it would be nice to have an audible alert instead of watching the tach on the downhills. I just set it since that last trip, so haven't heard it yet.

My '08 coach came with an '07 owners manual. Later Monaco sent me the '08 manual. Comparing both, I find much more detail, including flow charts, with the later manual for the Aladdin.

So, what other tips can others share?

Hey Harry...Why don't you plan on conducting a "Mini-Seminar" on how do do things with the Aladdin while you are at Quartzsite??
I know I could learn a few things...

Good tip Harry and useful. I don't trust the fuel gauge and use the trip calculator along with the spedo trip gauge to keep track of fuel status.
